Yamaha Microphone control in the NEXUS system

Users of Yamaha mixing consoles can now also access the NEXUS system from Stage Tec via IP in conjunction with the Dante interface. Yamaha consoles can control NEXUS microphone inputs and use the NEXUS converters. NEXUS offers excellent AD / DA conversion technology with the TrueMatch microphone converter at 32-bit internal resolution and 158 dB (A) dynamic, eliminating the need for microphone preamps.

Yamaha has expanded Dante device support with the latest update of the CL / QL series of mixers. Yamaha consoles can now be used over IP in Stage Tec NEXUS routing systems to control the input parameters of the TrueMatch microphone inputs (phantom power, low cut, and gain). NEXUS requires the Dante Audio-over-IP interface XDIP and the XACI control module for interaction. A Dante card provides up to 64 channels. For a mixer up to four Dante cards can be used. The IP-based variant triggers the serial modification (via MADI and NEXUS XCI)
