The new fine dine destination in Mumbai for authentic Asian food, Shizusan Shophouse & Bar scores high on
multi-cuisine FnB, aesthetically appealing interiors and décor, energetic and youthful ambience.
Shizusan chose to equip their establishment with a world class quality professional audio setup and they
entrusted one of the industry’s reputed one-stop-shop pro audio solutions provider – Dev Electronics.
The Dev Electronics team, represented by Ketan Shetty at the fore, took to the project instantly and devised
a minimalistic yet efficient and impactful pro audio system architecture for Shizusan which involved
deployment of products from Wharfedale which is one of India’s fastest growing brands in the pro audio
market today.
Ketan shared “Looking at the dimensions of the space at Shizusan and following the brief given to us by the
management, we knew instantly that using loudspeakers from Wharfedale Programme series, namely the 108T
and the 105T would be ideal for the place. Not only are they compact and discrete which makes it extremely
aesthetically pleasing, but they also pack a powerful punch and are absolutely spot on when it comes to
performance and when combined with the Delta15 subs, the Delta18subs and the Titan12 sub, all of which
have been evenly distributed across the venue floor for added powerful low frequency reinforcement. The
restaurant becomes superlatively equipped to host even the most energetic parties in town! The management
has also ensured that the venue is firmly equipped with world-class quality DJ gear, as the console area
sports the industry standard Pioneer CDJ900NXS player/controller in addition to a Pioneer DJM900NX2 dj
mixer. We’re extremely pleased to know the management’s feedback about the kind of sound quality that

The ground floor at Shizusan is designed as a sushi and cocktail bar with a few tables around and an
interesting bar table. The ceiling too is hand painted and shows the changing of the seasons. The main
dining level is located on the first floor which has high ceilings, large windows and lets enough light
into the room to make it look lively.
The music is one of the grand features at Shizusan, as the place treats its patrons to a spectrum ranging
from old school classic rock and retro to new age melodic rhythms, with the beat and tempo rising
gradually as the night progresses into some groovy electronic music. In addition to the wide range
in music, the fine dine resto also features a dedicated space to host live performances, with the most
popular ones being unplugged nights and the happy spirited party vibes that usually fills the place
during special performance nights and weekends.
