Dev Electronics organizes AUDIO FEST 2017

Held at Mumbai’s Nehru Center on 19th and 20th July 2017, The Audio Fest 2017 was conceptualized and organized by Dev Electronics as a platform for Indian pro audio professionals across applications to explore a tasteful and eclectic mix of products & technologies, knowledge and serious business networking.

At the show, Dev Electronics showcased a variety of technologies from the above reputed brands spanning product segments such as Point Source Loudspeaker Systems, Line Array Systems, Drivers and Components, Digital Mixing Consoles, Power Amplifiers, Digital Processors, Install Sound Gear, and DJ Gear. And true to the management’s word of the show, The Audio Fest 2017 did offer ‘great technologies and products at the best rates available anywhere in the market today’.

The Audio Fest 2017 also delivered several seminars and product training sessions. The first day witnessed sessions by Sennheiser (who talked about distribution antennas, wireless systems and selecting wired microphones), Harman Professional (who discussed digital crossovers and loudspeaker management systems in addition to the latest parameters in loudspeaker control and system alignment), and Pioneer DJ (presented a detailed insight into the world revered TOUR 1 system which was on active display for the first time in the city, in addition to an introductory session about their Rekordbox software). Day 2 was backed with knowledge sessions by Yamaha (sharing detailed insight into the CL5 digital console), Harman Professional (shared details about Vi3000 and Impact digital consoles from Soundcraft), and Pioneer DJ (delivered an exhaustive session on the key functions of the Nexus 2 system in addition to speaking about the latest updates for some of their market favourite controllers).

The Audio Fest 2017 reportedly drew visitors from across the state of Maharashtra as well as the rest of the country, with the visitor profile mainly comprising live sound rental company owners and professionals, live sound engineers, installers and system integrators, DJs and music producers, and other industry professionals.

Noted industry stalwarts such as Manish Mavani, Prakash Ahuja, Jitendra More, Sachin Nasre, etc graced the event emphasizing their support and commendation towards this initiative. Also present at The Audio Fest 2017 was the iconic Roger Drego, who inaugurated the event and was subsequently felicitated by Dev Electronics’ director – Mr. Dilip Devjani Dilip Devjani, director of Dev Electronics shares his comment about The Audio Fest 2017 saying, “The Audio Fest 2017 has truly been a festival of professional audio in every sense of the word.
