ams OSRAM is back on stage as the entertainment sector revives with introduction of a new range of entertainment lamps in the series of SIRIUS HRI, Lok-it!, SharXS, and HMI DIGITAL ranges.

The broadcasting market has grown substantially during the pandemic with the presence of streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime has generated greater demand for content shooting which is even higher than in the pre-Covid-19 era. For this reason, ams OSRAM has developed all its HMI products in the Digital version, to better illuminate the scenes recorded with digital cameras and eliminate or reduce the flicker and stop the UV rays for greater safety in their use. Coping up with the market demands, while mitigating the supply chain challenges every day, involving and arranging all raw materials for a smooth production line. ams OSRAM has worked hard to reduce lead times and organize production to meet the commitments made to our customers.

"An integral part of the entertainment market, the stage shows, major events etc. have not fully started yet, but it is also known worldwide that people want to get rid of the memory of sad moments. They desire to go out, have a social gathering and enjoy themselves together among groups and families. For this, we have prepared ourselves with a range of products for each type of application," said Antonio Marino, Global Sales - Entertainment, ams OSRAM Group.

Sirius HRI lamps The reflector Sirius HRI lamps can be used whenever there is a requirement for long life, and high luminous efficiency at a competitive price range. For shows where beam or Hybrid fixtures are required, the efficient Sirius HRI lamps are a light source in terms of quality and price paid.

  • SIRIUS HRI PRO- premium products offer maximum output with very stable light throughout their life, with the possibility of being able to dim the power for an even longer duration.
  • SIRIUS HRI CORE- standard product offering that a combination of performance and durability without additional control functions.
  • SIRIUS HRI VALUE- standard products offering the best value for the price-conscious buyer

All our HTI Lok it! and SharXS lamps are used for professional applications with SPOT and PROFILE lights with Brilliant. "The goal was to give the aftermarket an even more advanced and qualitatively better product with a colour rendering index higher than CRI 90," said Antonio.

The Neolux stage is compatible with many famous lighting fixture manufacturers in the power specifications of 230W, 280W and 330W. Neolux range of lamps is built with minute attention and reliability, yet highly price competitive.

"It takes passion - and great lighting - to create a show. Entertainment and architecture lighting solutions by ams OSRAM turn concerts, TV shows, theatre performances and architecture of all types into unforgettable visual experiences. This is great not just for audiences but also for the artists and lighting designers, who can take superlative light shows to the global stage with ams OSRAM's help," concludes, Antonio.
