Adamson Installed at AntiSocial by Munro Acoustics

Kapil Thiwani and Karan Nagpal together at AntiSocial, Mumbai

Adamson System installs begin with India’s leading integration company, Munro Acoustics putting up a permanent setup of the IS10 line array loudspeakers and IS119 subwoofers with Lab.gruppen D120:4L amplifiers at AntiSocial in Mumbai.

AntiSocial, under the umbrella of one of the biggest restaurant and nightlife groups in India, was born to create a space that was the antithesis of “bar gigs”, a place dedicated to expression, deep in the underground of Indian contemporary culture. After three years of being the epicentre of local scenes in Mumbai and Delhi, the idea became bigger than the spaces it was confined to.

Better than ever, AntiSocial is returning to Mumbai at Lower Parel and wanting to invest in a new audio system to best fit their ambience, several top-tier brands were hired every weekend for performing DJs from across the world, with the Adamson setup being hired from RichAudio India.

“The Adamson outplayed everything and made our decision an easy one,” comments the lead audio engineer for the venue. “It delivered immensely detailed and clean sound with consistent sonic impact at all sound levels. Adamson put a smile on our face, we kept wanting to hear more and we wanted to keep it.”

Specialising in the design of high end music, film and broadcast studio facilities, Kapil Thirwani from Munro Acoustics says, “The IS-Series offers pristine audio with a sleek look and unobtrusive rigging that keeps the focus on the aesthetic of the space and the music.”

Karan Nagpal, director of Adamson’s India distributor Sonotone says, “The IS10 has a smooth frequency response and precise reproduction so it is perfect for the versatile needs of the venue. We are elated that they chose Adamson.”
