SNVM Higher Secondary School Chooses BA As Their Sound Partner

Distributed by VMT, the installation was designed to provide precision with each BA product chosen to ensure balanced coverage

Shri Nehru Vidhyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, has stood as a symbol of educational commitment for over six decades. The school began its journey in a modest warehouse with just 11 students. Today, it proudly educates over 2,950 students, embracing diversity and offering instruction in English, with Tamil as the second language and Hindi as an optional subject. Its inclusive approach and dedication to academic strength have shaped it into one of the region's most respected institutions.

With continuous improvements in infrastructure, the school remains future-ready. The addition of a fully equipped auditorium and conference hall is a significant milestone in this growth, enabling students and faculty to engage more effectively in events, performances, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

SNVM aimed to strengthen its infrastructure with a reliable and high-performance sound solution for its auditorium and conference hall. The objective was to support a range of events daily assemblies, seminars, cultural programs, and academic discussions with clarity and consistency. The school's focus was on creating a space where every word and every note could be clearly heard, ensuring that communication remains effective across all types of gatherings. To meet this goal, the system was designed with close attention to the acoustic layout and functional requirements of the venue. The chosen components provide even sound distribution, clear speech delivery, and impactful music reproduction. From speaker placement to signal routing, every detail was carefully planned to make the system easy to operate while delivering consistent performance. The design prioritizes usability, durability, and sound coverage that reaches every corner of the room without distortion or feedback.

The main sound reinforcement is delivered through the Delta 930 LA, a Twin 10" High Power Compact Line Array Module, ensuring clear projection and coverage. Supporting the low-end is the Delta 928 S, a Dual 18" High Performance Subwoofer, adding depth and power to music content. Octa 82H, a 12" Active Loudspeaker - 2000W, is used for stage fills and monitoring. Amplification is managed by the 2XL, a 2-Channel High Performance Amplifier, and system control is handled by the Delta Drive 48X, a Digital Standalone Audio Processor. For the conference section, the setup includes the OSL OS 18, an Adjustable 18" Cardioid Gooseneck Microphone, and the OSL OS 42B, a Gooseneck Base with Switch, providing focused voice pickup and simple on-desk control.

"At SNVM, we have always believed in building an environment where education is supported by the right infrastructure. This installation reinforces our commitment to excellence and ensures our students and faculty are equipped for impactful learning and expression." - Shri B Mahaveer Bothra, President, SNVM. HR. SEC School.

"The installation was carefully designed to provide both precision and adaptability. Every element of the system was chosen to ensure balanced coverage and consistent performance across the venue. The result is a seamless audio experience that enhances the space without overpowering it." - Satish Kumar, Proprietor & Technical Head, Audio Note.

"This installation reflects how forward-thinking institutions are transforming traditional spaces into impactful environments for learning and expression. It's a proud moment for us to be part of projects that not only meet technical goals but also contribute to the growth of educational communities." - Jeff Mandot, Director, VMT.
