AV Summit redefining horizon in India’s Audio Visual Industry

Summit focus on key technology catalyst in emerging AV growth sectors

Among other highlight features, the expo’s main fringe programme includes a three day AV Integrated Systems Summit running synchronously with the Exhibition. The summit proposes to hold conference sessions, panel discussions, seminars and workshops on various paramount topics and technologies responsible for the growth in the AV Sectors. The Summit will provide equal opportunity to everyone who has something to say.

AV Over IP is a subject of growing interest among both integrators and actual users, making it a growing trend in 2018. For some people, the idea of using IP in a venue’s AV space is quite new, while for others, it is familiar territory. A session on AV over IP will discover new capabilities. AV over IP offers over a traditional AV setup and how secure is AV or IP.

The use of state-of-the-art technology to facilitate student engagement is more widespread than ever. Touch Screen Displays, Bring Your Own Device, Cloud technology has created stimulating and interactive environment, conducive for learning. A session on AV in Education will discuss latest state-of-the-art AV tech for the education sector, its ease of use, and future of AV in education.

Networking is becoming increasingly integral to AV systems. A session on AV Systems Networking will discuss networking basics, the numerous advantages to using networks for AV systems, existing standards, transportation through network layers and hardware and security considerations while implementing AV over the network.

Hardware, software and applications, ‘integrated’ and ‘smart’ technology devices can now be set-up and controlled remotely. The Connect, Command, and Control session will discuss functions of A/V control systems to deliver efficiency and central control and benefits of Software based AV Control and how integrators need to adapt.

Latest technology like touch screen technology, video walls, digital fabric graphics, and high-resolution content displays are proving to be impactful to capture the attention of customers. A session on Screen Technology will discuss the latest trends and technologies in large format, interactive, curve, foldable, and other new innovative screens.

LED Screens are the latest trend in Digital Cinema and while a session on LED vs Projection will discuss how LED Screens will play out against traditional projectors, a session on Digital Cinema will explore the new technology in low cost 2K projectors, as Bollywood rapidly makes a move to digital cinema with around 2000 screens coming up across the country.
