LEA Professional has appointed Jeff Gorton as the new Sales Director for the EMEA
(Europe, Middle
East, and Africa) region, a strategic hire aimed at driving the company's growth in global audio
markets. With nearly 20 years of experience in Pro AV sales and a strong background in global
distribution, Gorton brings extensive industry knowledge and deep-rooted relationships within the
EMEA audio community.
Reflecting on his journey into the audio industry, Gorton shared his early fascination with audio,
inspired by his father's AV integration business, which he first witnessed from his childhood
bedroom. “I fell in love with audio while commissioning a lecture theatre at Oxford University," he
said. "Playing Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall, I cranked up the volume, and every worker
on-site stopped to listen. That's when I knew AV was for me."
Gorton's role at LEA Professional will include enhancing the company's sales strategy across the
EMEA region and strengthening partnerships with LEA's network of trusted distributors. LEA
Professional, known for its innovative amplifier technology, is well-aligned with Gorton's vision

It shapes our emotions and creates powerful moments that stay with us." He believes audio technology
plays an essential role in enhancing the environments where people gather to enjoy shared
experiences, from concerts and theatres to sports arenas.
