Yamaha Unveils MGX Digital Mixer Series, URX Audio Interface Series, CC1 USB Controller

Published on 19th January, 2026

Yamaha Corporation has announced the new MGX Series digital mixing consoles, the URX Series audio interfaces, and the CC1 USB controller. Designed for corporate users looking to build sound systems for meetings and small-scale events, as well as creators engaged in a wide range of activities from music production to live streaming, this new product lineup delivers high-quality audio performance and a refined, efficient workflow.

By integrating with software products from group company Steinberg, as well as the widely used Stream Deck by Elgato and the live streaming software OBS Studio, Yamaha enables an unprecedented level of convenience and flexibility for creators around the world.

The MGX Series is a newly designed line of digital mixers that modernises the long‑established MG Series by digitising its mixing and control sections while retaining its signature sound quality, versatility, and intuitive operation. The MGX Series features a built‑in 32‑bit/96 kHz multi‑channel, multi‑stream audio interface, with the MGX16V and MGX12V models also offering an HDMI‑USB video/audio interface function. Available in black and white, the lineup includes the MGX16, MGX12, MGX16V, and MGX12V. Alongside this, Yamaha announces the URX Series, a professional‑grade USB audio interface supporting 32‑bit/192 kHz audio, a dynamic range of 115 dB (input) and 125 dB (MAIN output), and ultra‑low‑noise performance.

The URX models include internal mixing, routing, and processing functions equivalent to those of the MGX Series, with the URX44V also incorporating an HDMI‑USB interface. The lineup includes the URX44, URX22, and URX44V in black and white. Yamaha also debuts the CC1 USB Controller, a DAW controller compatible with Cubase, Nuendo, MixKey (with support planned in future updates), and Avid Pro Tools™, featuring a 100 mm motorised, touch‑sensitive fader with 10‑bit resolution and 12 LCD keys integrated with Elgato’s Stream Deck app for operating OS functions and a wide range of PC software. The CC1 is designed to support diverse production and livestreaming workflows, with future updates planned for MGX and URX Series compatibility. All new products are scheduled for exhibition at The 2026 NAMM Show.
