The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune — Under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India — Partners with British Acoustics for the AV Solution at Its C.V. Raman Centre Auditorium. The C.V. Raman Centre Auditorium at DIAT Pune is a versatile hub for academic and cultural exchange, designed for precision, clarity and innovation. The installation at the C.V. Raman Centre Auditorium, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune, Maharashtra, was designed to deliver a professional-grade audio system that meets the institute’s high standards for academic and institutional events. With the need for crystal-clear speech, dynamic sound for multimedia, and reliable performance for both small seminars and large conferences, the client required a solution that was flexible yet robust. The installation team focused on achieving precise coverage, effortless usability, and a future-ready system capable of adapting to a variety of event formats.

The solution combined advanced products from British Acoustics and OSL. The XP 515 2-Way Passive Loudspeakers and Delta 928S Dual 18" Subwoofers provide powerful, balanced coverage, while the XP 15H Powered Speaker adds standalone flexibility. System control is managed through the Delta 48X Processor and Delta Mix 32.16 Dante, with the 2XXL Class H Amplifier ensuring reliable power delivery. Complementing these, OSL’s OS 42B Gooseneck Base, OS 18 Gooseneck Microphone, OS B4R HH Handheld Transmitter, and OS B4R PP Receiver enable seamless conferencing and wireless operation. Together, the system offers an integrated and dependable solution tailored to the requirements of the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology — a flagship venue in Pune.
