India joins the global celebrations of Claypaky’s 50th Anniversary, commemorating a remarkable milestone in the company’s legacy of innovation, excellence, and leadership in entertainment lighting. The occasion marks five decades of pioneering achievements and reflects the trust, reliability, and lasting partnerships that Claypaky has built with customers, lighting professionals, and industry partners around the world. More than a celebration of the past, it is a tribute to the people, collaborations, and shared successes that continue to shape the future of the industry.

Pasquale Quadri, recognised as one of the early entrepreneurs to identify the transformative potential of technological advancements in lighting for the entertainment industry, founded Claypaky on August 28, 1976. The company subsequently developed a portfolio of lighting effects and solutions that contributed to industry innovation.

To commemorate the milestone, Claypaky organised a partner-focused event for selected representatives from across India. The event took place on 28 May in Mumbai.

As part of the programme, the company presented its flagship products along with its latest technological developments. The event also included recognition of top-performing partners for their continued collaboration. Following the integration of Claypaky and EK Lights into the same group, a selection of EK’s products was also demonstrated.

The event was hosted by members of the Claypaky team, including Slawa Gartung, Regional Sales Director; Alena Turiakova, Global Marketing Director; Pankil Ahuja, Sales Manager (India, Philippines & Australia); and Kapildev Saikia, Marketing Manager – ASEAN.

Claypaky’s 2025–2026 product cycle saw the introduction of a robust new portfolio including the Arolla Aqua series (HP, M‑LT, S‑LT, LT, Wash HC), Ultimo Sharpy, Tambora Stormy Linear, Tambora Glare, Volero Twins, and ADB Actoris fixtures.

The gathering served as an opportunity to acknowledge the company’s 50-year milestone, engage with partners, and outline future directions.

Across the past year, Claypaky’s continued rollout of high-performance, IP66-rated fixtures, hybrid effect lights, and broadcast-ready luminaires clearly reflects a sustained commitment to innovation. Marking 50 years in the industry, the breadth and technological advancement of these launches demonstrate how the company continues to evolve with changing production demands while maintaining its legacy of engineering excellence.

Claypaky’s presence in India has also been visible across recent high-profile live productions and installations. Its fixtures were deployed extensively at Aditya Gadhvi’s April 2026 concerts at Mumbai’s Jio World Garden, where a large-scale rig featuring Sharpy X Frame beams, B-Eye K15 and 16 K25, Tambora battens, Arolla Aqua and Rhapsodya fixtures created dynamic aerial effects and immersive stage environments. Additionally, its solutions featured at Bengaluru’s Sixth Sense Festival 2026, where a multidisciplinary installation integrated Claypaky lighting into an interactive visual experience, and in Sunidhi Chauhan’s multi-city “I Am Home” tour from December 2025 to March 2026, further amplifying the brand’s continued relevance across concert touring and experiential formats in India.
