Founded in 1997, Beats Light & Sound Pvt Ltd is a Delhi NCR–based leader in professional sound, lighting, and event production, known for delivering world-class large-scale events across India.

As live events continued to grow in scale and complexity, Beats Light & Sound began facing increasing demands on sound quality, system reliability, and workflow efficiency. Modern productions required handling large channel counts, multiple stage inputs, and long operating hours without compromise. Existing systems were being pushed to their limits, especially in touring and high-pressure environments where failure is not an option. The team needed a solution that could deliver consistent sonic excellence while remaining flexible enough to adapt across varied event formats, from corporate productions requiring crystal-clear speech to large music festivals demanding power and dynamic range.

To address these challenges, Sanjay Chaudhary from Beats Light & Sound engaged in detailed discussions with Rahul Rana from Yamaha Music India’s team and Karan from New Bharat Music House to evaluate a future-ready digital mixing solution. The focus was on finding a platform that combined flagship-level sound quality, robust reliability, and intuitive operation. Yamaha’s global reputation in professional audio, combined with its deep understanding of live sound workflows, made it a natural partner. Through collaborative evaluation and technical consultations, Yamaha proposed the RIVAGE digital mixing ecosystem as a solution capable of meeting both current demands and future production requirements.

The final system configuration included the Yamaha CSD-R7 control surface, RPIO622 I/O rack, RY16-ML-SILK interface cards, RY16-DA output cards, HY256-TL interface cards, and the HY144-D-SRC SRC card. Built on Yamaha’s advanced processing architecture, the RIVAGE platform delivers exceptional sonic transparency, high channel capacity, and flexible routing. The SILK processing allows engineers to shape tone with musical warmth or clarity as required, while Dante-based networking ensures low-latency signal flow, efficient cabling, and seamless integration between stage and front-of-house. Built-in redundancy further enhances system reliability for mission-critical live performances.
