KV2 Audio ES Series

This series is a truly scalable, compact and modular system includes ES1.0, ES1.5, ES1.8, ES2.5, ES2.5, ES2.6 range of speakers and subwoofers housed in separate - portable units – the EPAK 2500 and 2500R. Placing the active electronics package outboard results in a lighter, easier to handle and its compact size reduces transport, it is quick and easy to setup, cutting labor costs dramatically.

The ES series ES1.0 Mid/High speaker and the EPAK2500/R make up the core of the amazing sounding, incredibly dynamic ES system. Each ES1.0 requires an EPAK2500/R to power it and the three ways cabinet includes a 12” horn loaded mid bass driver, 6” horn loaded mid speaker, and 1.75” Titanium compression driver. You can rotate the ES 1.0 horn assembly in order to run the system in a vertical or horizontal configuration, and couple two ES1.0 cabinets together horizontally to create a very powerful, long throw solution.

As well as driving the three ways ES1.0 cabinet, a fourth amplifier channel in the EPAK2500/R control unit is dedicated to powering a choice of ES series subwoofers. The ES1.5 is a lightweight single 15” enclosure, the ES1.8 a horn reflex, single 18” subwoofer and the ES2.5 /2.6 a double 15”, twin asymmetrical design, available in either four Ohm (ES2.5) or eight Ohm (ES2.6) versions.

The meticulously designed control electronics inside the EPAK2500/R constantly monitor and preserve the relationship between each amplifier and component, delivering exactly the right amount and type of power throughout the system. When you’re able to perfectly match an amplifier with a transducer you start to unlock incredible performance that is impossible to achieve with passive systems. Total system reliability increases dramatically as does sound quality. With this kind of precision and efficiency built in, you’ll be amazed at the quality, depth, level and resolution produced by an ES system.

Outline EIDOS 218 S

As a leading manufacturing brand of premier sound reinforcement systems outline lounged all-new design, compliments the existing EDIOS installation range by providing a unit whose low-frequency extension and power handling capabilities exceed those of the dual-15″ EIDOS 215 S module; ideal for applications requiring super-powerful sub bass delivery, including live music and dance venues.

The EIDOS 218 S is particularly well-suited to reproducing modern dance music as the design provides extended low-frequency reproduction (down to 28 Hz) with tremendous ‘punch’ in and around the frequencies normally produced by real and synthetic bass drums. This focus and clarity enhances the reproduction of program material and makes the most efficient use of amplifier power.

This is a result of Outline’s proprietary ‘E.R.P.’ (‘Energy Retentive Porting’) design. Based on the principles of fluid dynamics and successfully applied to the science of controlling pneumatic forces within a loudspeaker enclosure, this unique arrangement of specially-shaped ports ensures an optimum laminar airflow. This reduces internal turbulence, maximizing the efficiency of the transducers and thus allowing more amplifier power to be converted into acoustic energy. Such a design requires high-precision manufacturing techniques, and Outline’s engineering teams have applied some original production techniques to turn an exciting concept into a physical reality.

Main features include: • Highly efficient, powerful low-frequency loudspeaker fitted with two 18″ transducers
• Exceptional size-to-power ratio (148.5 dB SPL short-term peak @ 1 m) facilitates location
• Proprietary Outline design provides tremendous ‘punch’
• Outline ‘E.R.P.’ (‘Energy Retentive Porting’) design assists airflow and enhances transducer efficiency
